Plantyn is a publisher of educational material for primary schools. It aims to be close to the teachers’ community and offers them promotions and relevant information through its sales team.
Plantyn wanted to gain more brand loyalty from teachers and approach them in a different way. Through Wijs, it wants to discover the issues teachers find important. By choosing a magazine as a channel, it’s easier to enter the school staff room. The topics featured in Wijs are relevant for all teachers and are told in an informative way. The magazine does not sell a single thing, but it builds a connection with teachers just by being present at school.
We chose to develop a magazine of roughly eight pages, that’s published three times a year. Because digital media are also gaining importance in primary schools, we enrich Wijs with a blog and multimedia content. We also create content for all social media channels, so all loyal fans can get regular updates.
